Sunday Morning Intercessors
Going back to the 1970’s, our church has had prayer meetings late on Saturday nights. It hasn’t necessarily been continuous, but it has been an important part of the life of this church. People (let’s call them “a remnant”) have gathered to pray for our Sunday services – that there would be an undeniable sense of God’s glory in our midst.
Due to recent schedule changes here at the Oasis, the 10 o’clock Saturday Night Prayer Meeting is becoming our 9 o’clock Sunday Morning Prayer Meeting. This 30-minute session will be an intensive time of intercession for the morning worship gathering. There are so many challenges – physical, emotional and spiritual – faced by everyone who attends our services, from the Pastor to the first-time guest! We believe that prayer makes a difference; that as we make our requests made known to God, He hears us and takes action! (Philippians 4:6-7)
So please consider yourself invited to join us as we “stand in the gap” for our pastors and workers, our musicians and guests. Have a direct link to what God’s Spirit is doing among His people on a Sunday morning. Believe God for great things in the life of the Oasis. Get ready for a release of a prophetic anointing on your life as God uses you in this potent ministry!
“And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.” -Acts 4:31
Please use the rear entrance – meeting will be held in the lower auditorium.
